The Loneliest Night of the Year

It's been a while (great song!) since I've decided I need to say something, apparently. But tonight is that big footblah game between the Patriots & Giants.

I hate footblah. I try to understand it, but I just don't get it. I think of myself as a fairly intelligent woman, who happens to have a slightly above average IQ, but there's something about the game and what it does to people that completely turns me off.

Over the years I've tried to analyze why I hate footblah so much. Perhaps it's the one boyfriend I had over 30 years ago that would shout at the tv at the players - wtf was that all about, anyway? Or maybe it's because there are so many people sucked in by the whole thing. Or maybe it's because the NFL is so retarded about certains aspects...you know...like letting bars have people gather to watch a game, but not churches. Now I'm no holy-roler, but honestly, what else could we expect from a game that plays the majority of its games on Sunday?

So I sit here, somewhat disgusted that they've ruined it for those of us who don't particularly like footblah. They've made it so absolutely no one wants to put anything decent on TV. And forget doing any online gaming with friends, because they're all at some big, oh-so-big (one might even say super, except that's not allowed either) party with other footblah loving friends.

blah blah blah......I hate footblah.
